Framework for action for older people. Proposals and recommendations to strengthen the exercise of the rights of older people.

In 2015, the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality and the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services developed the Framework for Action for the Elderly. One of the sections focuses on proposals relating to employment: (1) Lifelong learning and vocational training; (2) Healthy working conditions; (3) Age management strategies; (4) Employment services for older workers; (5) Avoiding age discrimination; (6) Employment-friendly taxation; (7) Transfer of experience; and (8) Reconciling work and family care. The chapter on participation in society also covers lifelong learning, social inclusion and volunteering for older people.
