Ingenuity – Competitive Start Fund and Business Development Programme
In 2016, The Ireland Smart Ageing Exchange (ISAX), together with DCU Ryan Academy and Local Enterprise Offices, with funding from the Bank of Ireland, launched the programme, ‘Ingenuity’ aimed at mature and highly experienced business professionals aged over 50 who were keen to establish and lead a start-up company in Ireland in the fields of manufacturing and internationally traded services.
They offered funding of €50,000 plus an 8-week business development programme (including workshops, bespoke mentoring and networking opportunities) to successful applicants.
The most recent programme ran for 12 weeks from February to May 2019.
The programme is currently paused until further notice due to the Pandemic.
