MentorCert

The ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership project started on 1 November 2017. This project was proposed as a follow-up to two previous ERASMUS+ projects: TRUST ME and CERTI4TRAIN. TRUST ME developed competence frameworks and learning materials for SME entrepreneurial mentors. CERTI4TRAIN has produced a European trainer certification scheme compliant with ISO 17024. The MENTORCERT project consortium will use both the results and methods of past projects to develop a European certification scheme for entrepreneurial mentoring (or business mentoring). By developing this European certification scheme for mentors, the MENTORCERT project will help to overcome the lack of information on standards which is one of the most important barriers to SME engagement in the EU.
