The Role Of İŞKUR in the context of The Silver Economy and Active Aging and the measures to be taken

This study is the thesis study of an expert working at İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency). It is important for individuals to remain active and healthy in order to maximize the potential contribution of the elderly population and workforce to social and economic life and to cope effectively with the emerging problems. The aim of this study is to engage in detailed discussions on the concepts of demographic transformation and aging, and to evaluate the problems that arise especially in the labour market in the context of active aging and the silver economy. In addition, the active aging strategies and successful employment policies of the countries that have completed the demographic transformation process have been examined with the aim of shedding light on the work to be done in Turkey.
