The Silver Economy manifesto: basic principles of the senior economy
Juan Carlos Alcaide (2019), a pioneer of the Silver Economy in Spain, has written a manifesto indicating the basic principles of the Silver Economy. Taking into account the Silver Economy would improve the lives of seniors, their professional carers and their families, the seven basic principles are: (1) everyone has the right to ageing with dignity; (2) making money in a better world; (3) there are no old men and women; (4) positive and active ageing: making the most of uncertain time; (5) the idea of Amparo; (6) planning is necessary; and (7) technology and digital services for the Silver Economy.
